SCDI has identified elderly care as a prioritized area of concern for the public sector. The elderly care constitutes the most resource intense part of the welfare system and given the significant workforce deficit facing the public sector, something needs to be done. SCDI will lead a research project on how digital transformation can be used to increase the wellbeing of co-workers in elderly care, and how governance needs to change to facilitate better working conditions.
