In September a new project started called Smart Facility Services with IoT. The project involves partners as Umeå municipality, Norsjö municipality, Umeå energi, Intensive, Umefast, Fältcom, Elsys, Vakin, the county council of Västerbotten and Umeå university. Two Ph.D. students are employed in the project, one at the Department of Informatics (Umeå) and one at Applied Physics. The aim of the project is to develop new data driven facility services. The project will run until June 2020. Katrin Jonsson is leading the project.
