The Digital Government Research Consortium in SCDI has during this semester seen the first batch of six executive doctoral students completing the research school program through the defense of their PhD theses.
Marcus Matteby (CIO, Sundsvall municipality): On how public sector organizations can drive digital transformation as inter-organizational collaboration.
Per Pärsson (Chief IT Architect, Sundsvall municipality): On managing technical debt and establishing a new architecture.
Fredrik Carlsson (Digital strategist, SALAR): On what collective digital transformation is and how it can be understood and enacted to assure equal welfare.
Leman Isik (Strategist, VGR): On how benefits realization can be integrated into digital transformation.
Mäjt Wik (Strategist, Region Dalarna): On the role of time in digital infrastructuring.
Petra Sintorn (Director Citizen Services, Botkyrka municipality): On digital citizen participation.
We congratulate this first batch of students exiting as well-deserved PhDs! While some of the students now continue as executive post-docs, the others will return to their duties in their home organizations to continue to save the welfare state.
